The Endurance Athlete community, we feel, encompasses some of the best of humanity. We believe our teams of Messengers are proof positive of this. Today we would like to further introduce you to one of them. You can always visit our About Us pages to see the full gang, but even cooler would be (if you are not already connected) to seek them out on Social Media and follow along with their journey. See, while some of our team is fast and swift, that’s not what it’s about. Our Messenger team is all about how inspiring they have been to us. Their stories are why we sought them out to be part of Mas Korima. We are hopeful to give every one of them maybe just a drip bigger platform so that maybe a few more folks will get to see why we find them such an inspiration. And why we refer to them as “Messengers”.
Let’s start out introducing you to the team with Tony Nguyen. Here’s what Tony had to say in his brief bio:
“On April Fool's Day I thought I was having a heart attack. No joke. I knew I had to make some changes in my life, so I took my dog for a walk around the block. That short walk soon turned into long urban hikes all over San Francisco. This lead to a jog, and then a run. That run ultimately lead to a marathon and a few 100 mile endurance runs. Bottom line, I got healthy and took control of my life. I am Endorphin Dude.”
Further, Tony was diabetic. He was taking medicine to treat the disease. Tony began to run. Tony no longer is diabetic. Tony smiles a lot. Tony gives good hugs. Tony is a great runner. He’s not afraid to play and have fun (he is the Endorphin Dude after all), and we dig the heck out of him and are happy he’s part of our team.
